Dahua DH-IPC-HDW8441X-3D 4MP WizMind Dual-Lens People Counting Camera

The Dahua DH-IPC-HDW8441X-3D is a 4MP WizMind dual-lens network camera built for highly accurate 3D people counting and occupancy analytics. Its twin sensors create a depth map of the scene so foot-traffic counts stay accurate even in dense crowds, while IR night vision keeps it working after dark. Powered over a single PoE cable, it supports ONVIF and pairs with a Dahua NVR for recording and reporting.

3D Stereo People Counting

Twin sensors build a depth map of the scene, so the camera counts people by height and volume rather than 2D motion — delivering accurate entry/exit and occupancy figures even when people overlap.

WizMind AI Accuracy

Dahua's WizMind engine filters trolleys, shadows and non-human objects out of the count, keeping retail, transport and building-occupancy data reliable.

Overhead Eyeball Form

The compact eyeball housing mounts on ceilings above entrances and aisles, with IK10 vandal resistance and IP67 sealing for dependable, tamper-resistant operation.

Single-Cable PoE

One Cat6 run carries power and data. ONVIF support lets it record to a Dahua NVR while feeding counting metadata to your analytics platform.

What is dual-lens 3D people counting?
Two sensors view the scene from slightly different angles to build a 3D depth map. The camera counts people by height and volume, which is far more accurate than 2D motion counting in busy entrances.
Does it need a special NVR?
It records to any compatible Dahua NVR over PoE and ONVIF. For full counting and occupancy reports, use a Dahua AI/WizMind NVR or Dahua's analytics platform.
Where should it be mounted?
It is designed for indoor overhead mounting above entrances and aisles, where the dual lenses get a clear top-down view for counting accuracy.
How is it powered?
A single Cat6 cable provides PoE (802.3af) power and data, or you can use a 12V DC supply.
Is this camera NDAA compliant?
No. Dahua products are not NDAA Section 889 compliant. If you need NDAA-compliant cameras for US federal or critical-infrastructure projects, contact our team about Uniview, Hanwha or Axis options.
