What does WizMind add over a standard camera?
WizMind is Dahua's deep-learning AI. It delivers face detection, perimeter protection and human/vehicle classification on-camera, so alerts focus on real threats and footage is faster to search.
How far does the IR reach?
Smart IR illuminates up to 50m and automatically adjusts brightness so near subjects are not over-exposed while distant detail stays visible.
Is the 2.8mm lens wide or zoomed?
2.8mm is a wide-angle fixed lens, giving a broad field of view suited to entries, driveways and open areas rather than long-distance detail.
How is it powered?
A single Cat6 cable provides PoE (802.3af) power and data, or you can use a 12V DC supply.
