How much power does the AXIS T8154 deliver?It supplies High Power over Ethernet with a maximum of 60 W, using a 55 V DC output. That is enough headroom for outdoor PTZ domes, heated housings and illuminators that exceed the 30 W PoE+ limit.
Does it need an external power supply?No. The mains supply is integrated. You connect 100–240 V AC at 50–60 Hz directly to the C14 power connector, which reduces cabling and simplifies installation.
Can I feed data in over fibre?Yes. The unit has an SFP slot as well as an RJ45 port, so data can arrive over fibre or copper. Axis offers the T8611 (single-mode LC.LX), T8612 (multi-mode LC.SX) and T8613 (1000BASE-T) modules for the slot.
Is the SFP module included?No. SFP modules are sold separately so you can match the module to your fibre type and distance. The box includes the midspan and an installation guide.
What network speeds does it support?10/100/1000 Mbps. Data runs over pairs 1/2 and 3/6 for 10/100 Ethernet and over all four pairs for Gigabit Ethernet.
How do I mount it?It can sit on a shelf, mount to a wall, or clip to DIN rail using the optional AXIS T91A03 DIN Rail Clip. It also fits inside an AXIS Wall Mount or an equivalent enclosure.
What temperature range can it handle?-10 °C to 55 °C when delivering up to 30 W, or -10 °C to 45 °C at the full 60 W. Mounted inside an AXIS T91G61 and connected to an outdoor PTZ, the rated range is -50 °C to 50 °C.
Will it work with non-Axis cameras?It supports all Axis network products with Power over Ethernet, and behaves as a standard inline midspan — it auto-detects PoE and High PoE devices before applying power. Check your device's power class against the 60 W output before ordering.
Does it work with Australian mains power?Yes. The universal 100–240 V AC, 50–60 Hz input suits Australian 230 V / 50 Hz supply, and the unit carries RCM AS/NZS CISPR32 Class A approval.
