Designed for retail floors, lobbies, transport hubs and other busy interiors, the P3265-V combines a varifocal 3.4–8.9 mm lens with remote zoom and focus so you can fine-tune the field of view without a return visit. Built-in cybersecurity, edge analytics and two-way audio make it a future-proof choice for sites that need more than just a recording.
Lightfinder 2.0 & Forensic WDR
Sees colour in near-dark conditions and holds detail in both bright and shadowed areas of the same scene, with WDR up to 120 dB depending on the scene.
Deep learning analytics
The ARTPEC-8 DLPU runs AXIS Object Analytics to detect and classify humans and vehicles on the edge, cutting false alarms and speeding up forensic search.
Remote zoom & focus
The motorised varifocal lens lets you set the exact view from your desk, with P-Iris control for sharp, evenly exposed images.
Built-in cybersecurity
Axis Edge Vault, signed OS, secure boot and a CC EAL6+ secure element help prevent unauthorised access and protect your video.
What resolution is the AXIS P3265-V?It captures 2 MP (1920 x 1080, 1080p) video at up to 50/60 fps, dropping to 25/30 fps when Forensic WDR is active.
Does the P3265-V have built-in IR illumination? No. The P3265-V is the non-IR model and relies on its Lightfinder 2.0 low-light performance. If you need built-in infrared for fully dark rooms, choose the P3265-LV instead.
Is it suitable for outdoor use?It is an indoor camera rated IP52 and IK10. It resists dust, dripping water and vandalism indoors, but is not weatherproof for unprotected outdoor mounting.
What analytics are included?AXIS Object Analytics runs on the onboard deep learning processing unit to detect and classify humans and vehicles, alongside AXIS Scene Metadata and AXIS Image Health Analytics.
Can I adjust the field of view remotely?Yes. The varifocal 3.4–8.9 mm lens supports remote zoom and focus, so you can set the view from software without revisiting the camera.
Does it support audio and I/O?Yes. It offers two-way full-duplex audio via external mic/line connections plus one digital input and one digital output for integrating external devices.
What power does it need?It is powered over Ethernet (PoE IEEE 802.3af/at, Class 2), typically drawing 3 W and a maximum of 5.1 W, so a single cable handles both power and data.
Is the AXIS P3265-V NDAA compliant?Yes. As an Axis Communications camera it is NDAA 889 and TAA compliant, making it suitable for government and security-sensitive projects.
What ONVIF profiles does it support? It supports ONVIF Profile S, G, T and M for broad compatibility with third-party video management systems.
