What is included?Three USL-Motion single-unit sensors, one USL-Gateway and one UP-Siren-PoE. A console and PoE switch are not included.
Who is this expansion kit for?Customers with an existing compatible UniFi Protect console and suitable PoE power who want to add three indoor motion sensors and a siren.
Do I need a SuperLink Gateway?Yes. This kit includes a USL-Gateway to connect the included SuperLink sensors. Customers who already have a suitable gateway may prefer to buy sensors and a siren individually.
What console can I use?Use an existing compatible UniFi console running UniFi Protect. A CloudKey+ is one option and is sold separately.
How are the devices powered?The sensors use CR123A lithium batteries. The siren requires PoE; the gateway supports PoE or optional USB-C power. Suitable network connections and power equipment are required.
Is everything wireless?Only the motion sensors use the wireless SuperLink connection. The gateway and siren connect to your network through Ethernet.
Are alarms ready to use out of the box?Adopt the devices, configure triggers, scopes, siren actions and notifications in UniFi Protect Alarm Manager, and test the installation.
Are installation and backup power included?No. Ethernet cables, installation/configuration services, a UPS, cellular backup and professional monitoring are not included.
