Do I need special cameras for the AI features?
No. The VPro NVR runs AcuSeek, AcuSearch and facial recognition on any compatible Hikvision or ONVIF IP camera. Pairing with Hikvision AcuSense / ColorVu cameras improves accuracy further.
Are there ongoing subscription fees for AcuSeek or AI features?
No. All AI processing — AcuSeek, AcuSearch, facial recognition, ANPR — runs on-board the NVR. There are no recurring cloud fees, ever.
