Is the Ubiquiti U5G-Max compatible with all major carriers?
The U5G-Max is officially certified for major network providers including AT&T and T-Mobile (using standard data-only plans; T-Mobile Home Internet SIMs are not supported). Direct Verizon support is expected in future updates.
How is the device powered during deployment?
The unit operates via standard Power over Ethernet (PoE input), transmitting both data connectivity and electrical power through a single Ethernet cable connected to any UniFi PoE switch or gateway.
Can this modem be used as a primary internet source?
