What credentials does the G3 Reader support?

Does the G3 Reader have a PIN keypad?
No. The standard G3 Reader uses tap, Wallet, and mobile unlock. For keypad/PIN entry, choose a UniFi Access reader model with an integrated keypad.
Does it need a subscription?
No. UniFi Access runs locally on a UniFi Access host with no licence or monthly fees.
Can it be used outdoors in Australia?
Yes. It is rated IP55 for indoor and outdoor use with a −30°C to 45°C operating range, suiting Australian entryways and exposed doors.
What do I need to run it?
A UniFi Access Hub plus a UniFi Access host, a PoE switch to power the reader, and your door lock hardware (sold separately).
Is the G3 Reader NDAA compliant?
