airMAX ac Custom Silicon
Ubiquiti's airMAX® engine with custom IC dramatically improves TDMA latency and network scalability, providing hardware acceleration to the airMAX scheduler for the high data rates and dense modulation of airMAX ac technology.
25 dBi 400 mm Dish
The powder-coated SPCC dish reflector and UV-stabilised feed deliver 25 dBi of gain for reliable long-distance links, with a focused beam that maximises range and signal stability.
Integrated ISO Isolation
The integrated radio isolator (ISO) horn shields the antenna feed from off-axis interference and noise, improving performance in noisy, co-located, and high-density deployments.
Gigabit Connectivity
A single 10/100/1000 Ethernet port carries both data and power, while front-panel LEDs give at-a-glance power, link, and 4-segment signal-strength feedback for easy alignment.
Flexible Channel Widths
Supports PtP channels of 10/20/30/40/50/60/80 MHz and PtMP channels of 10/20/30/40 MHz, letting you tune bandwidth and spectrum use to each link.
Simple PoE Deployment
Ships with a 24V, 0.5A Gigabit PoE adapter and pole-mount kit. Just 8.5 W max consumption keeps running costs and power runs minimal at remote sites.
NDAA Compliant
Fully NDAA Section 889 compliant for government, defence, and security-sensitive networks where supply-chain integrity is a requirement.
PowerBeam AC Gen2 ISO Radio
PBE-5AC-ISO-Gen2 with 400 mm 25 dBi dish and integrated ISO isolator horn.
Gigabit PoE Adapter
24V, 0.5A Gigabit PoE power adapter included.
Pole-Mount Kit
Mounting hardware for pole installation included.
Not Included
Outdoor Ethernet cable and a second radio (for a complete link) are sold separately.
How many PowerBeam units do I need for a link?
A point-to-point link needs two radios — one at each end. For point-to-multipoint, each remote site uses one PowerBeam as a CPE talking to a central base station.
What does the ISO version add?
The ISO model includes an integrated radio isolator horn that shields the antenna feed from off-axis interference, improving performance in noisy and co-located RF environments.
Is a power supply included?
Yes. A 24V, 0.5A Gigabit PoE adapter and pole-mount kit are included in the box. You'll need to supply outdoor-rated Ethernet cable.
What gain does the antenna provide?
The 400 mm dish provides 25 dBi of gain, suited to medium and long-range 5 GHz airMAX ac links.
Is the PowerBeam AC Gen2 ISO NDAA compliant?
Yes. Ubiquiti is a US-based manufacturer and this radio is NDAA Section 889 compliant — suitable for government and security-sensitive networks.
