4K Detail, Full Colour 24/7
An 8MP 1/2.7" sensor with an F1.6 lens and four white LEDs captures vivid 4K colour even in complete darkness (0 lux), so you record faces, clothing colour and number plates clearly day and night — not grainy black-and-white IR.
Accurate AI Alerts
Human & Vehicle Classification filters out animals, rain and moving foliage to cut false alarms, while People & Vehicle Analytics let you search footage by attributes — finding the person or car of interest in seconds.
Active Defense + Two-Way Audio
When the AI detects a person or vehicle, the camera flashes its white light and sounds an audible warning, while a built-in mic and speaker let you talk live through the VIGI app to challenge trespassers or greet visitors.
Smart Video Enhancement
120 dB True WDR balances harsh backlight, while Smart IR, 3D DNR and auto white balance keep images clean and natural. Efficient H.265+ cuts storage and bandwidth without sacrificing image quality.
What's the difference between the 2.8 mm and 4 mm lens?
The 2.8 mm gives a wider 111° view for entries and rooms; the 4 mm gives a narrower 91° view that reaches further (107 m detect) — better for driveways, car parks and number plates.
Does it record in colour at night?
Yes. The F1.6 lens and four white LEDs deliver true 24/7 full-colour 4K video down to 0 lux, rather than grainy black-and-white IR.
How does Active Defense work?
When the AI detects a person or vehicle, the camera flashes its white light and sounds an audible warning, and you can speak live through two-way audio to deter intruders.
Is a microSD card or NVR included?
No — the camera records to a microSD card (up to 512 GB, sold separately) or to any VIGI/ONVIF NVR. It is sold as a standalone camera.
How is it powered?
By PoE (802.3af/at, max 12.5 W) over a single network cable, or by a 12V DC supply — whichever suits your install.
Will it work with my existing recorder?
Yes. It's ONVIF Profile S/T/G compliant, so it integrates with VIGI NVRs and most third-party ONVIF recorders and VMS platforms.
Is it weatherproof?
Yes — IP67-rated with a metal housing and a −30°C to 60°C operating range, suited to exposed Australian outdoor installations.
Is it covered by warranty in Australia?
Yes — 3-year Australian warranty with local CCTV Guru tech support.
