Description
TP-Link TL-WR3602BE BE3600 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router
Affordable Wi-Fi 7 for Homes and Small Offices
The TP-Link TL-WR3602BE brings Wi-Fi 7 to an accessible price point without compromising on the features that matter. With BE3600 dual-band performance, Multi-Link Operation (MLO), a 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port, and EasyMesh compatibility, it is a capable upgrade for households and small offices ready to move beyond Wi-Fi 6.
Description
Wi-Fi 7 is the latest wireless standard, and the TL-WR3602BE makes it available without the premium price tag of flagship routers. Operating across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with combined speeds of up to 3600 Mbps, it handles everyday tasks — streaming, video conferencing, gaming, and smart home devices — with lower latency and greater efficiency than previous Wi-Fi generations.
Multi-Link Operation (MLO) allows compatible devices to connect across both bands simultaneously, improving throughput and reducing dropped connections. The 2.5 Gbps WAN port future-proofs the router for multi-gigabit NBN plans, and EasyMesh compatibility means it can be paired with other EasyMesh-compatible nodes to extend coverage across larger homes without a full system replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the TL-WR3602BE support tri-band Wi-Fi?
- No. The TL-WR3602BE is a dual-band router operating on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. It does not include a 6 GHz band. For tri-band Wi-Fi 7 with 6 GHz support, consider the TP-Link Deco BE65 or Archer BE800 series.
- Will the 2.5 Gbps WAN port work with my NBN connection?
- Yes, provided your NBN plan and modem/ONT support speeds above 1 Gbps. Most standard NBN plans operate at 100–1000 Mbps and will connect at Gigabit speeds. The 2.5G port provides headroom for future multi-gigabit NBN upgrades without replacing the router.
- What is EasyMesh and how does it work with this router?
- EasyMesh is a Wi-Fi Alliance standard that allows routers and access points from compatible brands to form a unified mesh network. The TL-WR3602BE can act as the main router in an EasyMesh system, with compatible nodes added to extend coverage. Devices roam seamlessly between the router and nodes on a single network name.
- Does Multi-Link Operation (MLO) require a Wi-Fi 7 client device?
- Yes. MLO benefits are only available when connecting with a Wi-Fi 7-capable device such as a smartphone, laptop, or adapter that supports the 802.11be standard. Older Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 devices will connect normally but will not use MLO.
- Can I manage the TL-WR3602BE remotely?
- Yes. The TP-Link Tether app (iOS and Android) supports remote management of the router, including guest network control, parental controls, device prioritisation, and firmware updates, from anywhere with an internet connection.
