What is an edge router and why does it matter?An edge router processes data locally before sending it to the cloud. The RUTC41's CPU, RAM and Docker support let you run analytics and applications on-site, cutting latency and data costs.
Can it really run Docker containers?Yes. Docker is natively supported, so you can deploy containerised software and microservices directly on the router using its 8 GB eMMC storage.
What mobile speeds does it reach?It uses 4G LTE Cat 4 for up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload, with 3G and 2G fallback.
How many Ethernet ports does it have?Five Gigabit RJ45 ports — one WAN and four LAN — plus a USB 2.0 host port for external devices.
What Wi-Fi standard is supported?Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with MU-MIMO, up to 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 512 connected clients.
Does it support dual SIM and eSIM?Yes. Two Mini SIM (2FF) slots plus a consumer eSIM holding up to 7 profiles, with automatic failover between them.
Can it be powered over Ethernet?Yes. It accepts 9–50 VDC and passive PoE-in (Mode B, 9–30 VDC) on LAN1, with a 24 W PSU in the box.
Is it built for harsh environments?An anodised aluminium housing, IP30 rating and -40 °C to +75 °C operating range make it suitable for cabinets and industrial sites.
