48 Gigabit Ports for High Density
Connect up to 48 devices over Gigabit RJ45 — APs, cameras, workstations, and servers — from a single 1U rack-mount switch, making it ideal for busy offices, schools, and commercial sites.
4x 10G SFP+ Uplinks
Four 10G SFP+ ports provide high-capacity uplinks and link aggregation, delivering the bandwidth and redundancy needed for demanding aggregation and access-layer roles.
Full Layer 2 & Layer 3 Routing
Beyond rich Layer 2 switching, the Pro 48 adds Layer 3 functionality including inter-VLAN routing, static routing, and a DHCP server — consolidating network roles into one device.
Near-Silent Cooling
Innovative, intelligent cooling keeps the switch running near-silent, so it can be deployed in offices and quiet environments without disruptive fan noise.
UniFi SmartPower RPS Redundancy
A dedicated UniFi SmartPower RPS DC input supports redundant power, helping keep critical network infrastructure online if mains power is interrupted.
1.3″ Touchscreen Display
An integrated 1.3″ touchscreen surfaces live status, port activity, and system information directly on the switch for quick at-a-glance monitoring.
Managed by UniFi Network
Configure and monitor virtually every feature from the UniFi Network controller or mobile app — an intuitive single-pane interface accessible from anywhere.
NDAA Compliant
Fully NDAA Section 889 compliant for government, defence, and security-sensitive installations where supply-chain integrity is a requirement.
Does the USW-PRO-48 supply PoE?
No. The USW-PRO-48 is a non-PoE managed switch. If you need to power PoE devices such as cameras or access points directly, choose the USW-Pro-48-PoE model instead.
Is the Switch Pro 48 a Layer 3 switch?
Yes. It is fully managed with Layer 2 and Layer 3 features including inter-VLAN routing, static routing, and a DHCP server.
What do I need to manage it?
A UniFi Network host — such as a Cloud Key, UniFi Dream Machine, or self-hosted controller — lets you configure and monitor the switch from the UniFi app or web interface.
Can I use the SFP+ ports for redundancy?
Yes. The four 10G SFP+ uplinks support link aggregation for higher capacity and increased availability between switches.
Is the USW-PRO-48 NDAA compliant?
Yes. Ubiquiti is a US-based manufacturer and the Switch Pro 48 is NDAA Section 889 compliant — suitable for government and security-sensitive sites.
