What is the USW-Pro-Aggregation used for?
It is a Layer 3 aggregation switch that consolidates many 10G fibre links into a high-capacity backbone, with 25G SFP28 uplinks to the core — ideal as the fibre heart of a UniFi network.
Does it support Layer 3 routing?
Yes. It supports inter-VLAN routing, static routing, a local DHCP server, and DHCP relay, so it can route between networks at the aggregation layer.
Does it come with SFP modules?
No. SFP+ (10G) and SFP28 (25G) transceivers are sold separately so you can match the right optics or DAC cables to your runs.
Can I add redundant power?
Yes. A USP-RPS (sold separately) connects to the DC input and keeps the switch running if the internal PSU fails.
Can the four 25G ports run at mixed speeds?
Once any SFP28 port is set to 25 Gbps, all four are limited to 25 Gbps. Mixed speed is only supported when all SFP28 ports run at 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps.
