Can I answer from my phone?Yes. Hik-Connect can be used to view visitors, talk and unlock remotely when the system is configured correctly.
Does it need Wi-Fi?No. The kit is designed around wired PoE communication. Wi-Fi can still be useful depending on how your installer configures remote access.
Can it unlock a door or gate?Yes. The door station supports lock control, but the final setup depends on your electric strike, magnetic lock, gate motor and power design.
Can I add another indoor monitor?Yes, additional compatible indoor stations can be added for multi-room or multi-floor setups.
Is this suitable for business use?Yes. It is suitable for homes, small offices, studios, clinics, warehouses and controlled entry points.
