WizSense AI · 16-Channel · 16-PoE · 4K
The Dahua DHI-NVR4216-16P-AI/ANZ is a 16-channel WizSense AI NVR with 16 built-in PoE+ ports, 4K HDMI output, and dedicated deep-learning processing for face recognition, perimeter protection and SMD Plus motion analytics. Record up to 16 MP per channel, drive a 4K spot monitor and a 1080p control screen at the same time, and stream live to phones via DMSS — all from a compact 1U desktop or rack chassis.
This is the official Australia / NZ-market SKU (the AI/ANZ suffix), shipped with regional firmware, an Australian plug, a local 3-year warranty, and Australian tech support from CCTV Guru. Dual SATA bays accept up to 16 TB drives each, and the 130 W PoE budget powers a full row of WizSense cameras straight from the recorder — no separate PoE switch needed.
16 PoE+ ports — plug-and-play install
PoE Ports
16 × 10/100 · IEEE 802.3af/at
PoE Budget
130 W total · up to 25.5 W per port
One cable per camera
Each Cat6 run carries power and video back to the NVR — no power adaptors at every camera, no separate PoE switch in the rack. Run, terminate, plug in, done.
Powers PTZ-class cameras
25.5 W per port (PoE+ / 802.3at) supports IR-heavy bullets, mini PTZs, multi-sensor cameras and TiOC active-deterrence units that draw too much for basic PoE.
Gigabit uplink
10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 to your switch or router, so remote viewing, NAS backup and multi-site VMS pulls don't bottleneck on a 100 Mbps link.
Australia / NZ-tuned firmware
The AI/ANZ suffix means region-correct firmware, AS/NZS-compliant power adaptor, and a 3-year warranty backed by CCTV Guru in Sydney.

Frequently asked questions
How many cameras can the built-in PoE actually power?
All 16 ports deliver PoE+ up to 25.5 W each, but the total budget across the recorder is 130 W. In practice that's enough for ~16 standard bullets/turrets at 5-7 W each, or roughly 5 high-power PTZ/IR-heavy cameras at 25 W each. Mix accordingly, or daisy-chain a PoE injector if you need more headroom.
Does this NVR support AcuPick?
No — AcuPick is reserved for Dahua's 5-Series WizSense Plus NVRs paired with TiOC PV cameras. This is a 4-Series NVR, so it supports Quick Pick instead (the original colour/clothing-based target search). If you specifically need AcuPick, ask CCTV Guru about the NVR5208-8P-4KS3 family.
Will it work with my non-Dahua IP cameras?
Yes. The NVR4216-16P-AI/ANZ supports ONVIF Profile T/S/G (version 21.12) and has native integration for Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, Axis, Pelco, Arecont and Canon. AI features run best with Dahua WizSense cameras, but recording works with any ONVIF camera.
What's the difference between the AI/ANZ and the EI version?
The AI/ANZ is the Australia / NZ-market SKU — same hardware as the global EI model, but with regional firmware, AS/NZS-compliant power supply, and a 3-year warranty backed locally in Australia. The EI is the European-region equivalent. Functionally identical; commercially region-specific.
How much storage do I need for 16 cameras?
A common starting point is 16 × 4 MP cameras at H.265+ on motion-record — roughly 10-12 TB will give you about 30 days. Fit two 8 TB or 10 TB surveillance-grade drives (WD Purple, Seagate SkyHawk) and you're set; the NVR supports up to 16 TB per bay (~32 TB total).
Is the DHI-NVR4216-16P-AI/ANZ NDAA Section 889 compliant?
No. Dahua products are not currently NDAA Section 889 compliant. If NDAA compliance is required (federal, government or defence installs), choose a Uniview, Hanwha, Axis, Bosch or IDIS NVR instead — CCTV Guru can recommend an equivalent.
Can I view it on my phone?
Yes — install the free DMSS app on iOS or Android, scan the QR code on the NVR's local menu, and you'll have live view, playback, push notifications and two-way audio without configuring port forwarding or a static IP.
Does it rack-mount?
Yes — the 1U chassis (375 × 329 × 53 mm) fits a standard 19-inch rack with ears (sold separately), or sits flat on a shelf. At just 2.6 kg without HDDs, it's also fine on a sturdy desk under a monitor.

Frequently asked questions
What is AcuPick and how is it different to Quick Pick?
AcuPick is Dahua's next-generation video search technology — it uses BOTH camera-side and NVR-side AI to extract rich attributes (clothing, body shape, vehicle make/model/colour/plate, direction, action) from every frame as it records, then lets you search by a reference image OR by combined attributes. Quick Pick (on the 4-Series) does single-attribute colour/clothing search only. AcuPick is faster, more accurate, and supports both people and vehicles natively.
Do I need special cameras for AcuPick?
Yes — AcuPick relies on camera-side intelligence to extract attributes during recording. You need Dahua's WizSense-Plus AcuPick-ready cameras (typically the TiOC PV and 5-Series IPC families). Standard WizSense cameras will still record and recognise faces, but the full AcuPick search depth needs paired AcuPick IPCs.
What does ePoE on ports 1–8 give me?
Extended PoE — long-distance Cat6 runs at reduced speed. Ports 1–8 support 100 Mbps up to 300 m or 10 Mbps up to 800 m (most IP cameras work fine at 10 Mbps for sub-stream + main-stream H.265+). Eliminates intermediate switches on long perimeter or carpark runs. Ports 9–16 run standard PoE+ at up to 100 m.
What is N+M cluster and when do I need it?
N+M cluster lets you pair multiple 5-Series NVRs so that backup recorders automatically take over if a primary unit fails — zero footage loss for critical sites. Useful for casinos, banks, transport hubs, hospitals and any install where a single-recorder outage would breach SLA. Configure via the NVR's local GUI or DSS-Pro.
Is the DHI-NVR5216-16P-AI/ANZ NDAA Section 889 compliant?
No. Dahua products are not currently NDAA Section 889 compliant. If NDAA compliance is required (federal, government or defence installs), choose a Uniview, Hanwha, Axis, Bosch or IDIS NVR instead — CCTV Guru can recommend an equivalent.
Will it work with my non-Dahua IP cameras?
Yes. The NVR5216-16P-AI/ANZ supports ONVIF Profile T/S/G (version 22.06) and has native integration for Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, Axis, Pelco, Arecont and Canon. Standard recording works with any ONVIF camera; AcuPick and the deeper AI search features require Dahua WizSense / AcuPick IPCs.
How much storage do I need for 16 cameras?
For 16 × 8 MP cameras at H.265+ on motion-record, allow ~20-25 TB for 30 days of retention. Two 16 TB drives in disk-group config will hit roughly 45-60 days. If on-board capacity isn't enough, the NVR supports iSCSI for network-attached storage expansion.
Can I view it on my phone?
Yes — install the free DMSS app on iOS or Android, scan the QR code on the NVR's local menu, and you'll have live view, playback, push notifications and two-way audio without configuring port forwarding or a static IP.

Hikvision DS-7616NI-M2/16P 16 Channel 16 PoE 8K NVR
The Hikvision DS-7616NI-M2/16P is a 16-channel plug-and-play 8K Network Video Recorder engineered for medium-sized Australian sites — warehouses, factories, retail stores, multi-tenant offices and large residences that need a single, reliable recorder running up to 16 high-resolution IP cameras. With 16 built-in PoE ports, support for up to 32 MP per channel, 256 Mbps incoming bandwidth and true 8K HDMI output, it's the natural step-up from 8-channel recorders without needing to move to a rack-mount system.
Two internal SATA bays accept up to 16 TB drives each (32 TB total), delivering weeks of continuous 24/7 recording or months of motion-triggered footage at 4K. AcuSense-ready firmware brings deep-learning human and vehicle classification, line-crossing, intrusion and perimeter protection — drastically reducing false alarms and making playback genuinely fast across all 16 cameras.

Why this 16-channel NVR is the right choice for serious sites
Where the 8-channel models stop, the DS-7616NI-M2/16P keeps going. Sixteen built-in PoE ports mean you can power and connect every camera directly from the recorder — no extra PoE switches, no extra failure points. Combined with 256 Mbps of incoming bandwidth, you can run a full deployment of 4K ColorVu, AcuSense and PanoVu cameras simultaneously without throttling resolution or frame rate.
True 32 MP Per Channel
Every one of the 16 channels supports cameras up to 32 MP — the highest tier in any plug-and-play NVR — so you can mix PanoVu, fisheye and 4K+ AcuSense models freely.
AcuSense Smart Detection
When paired with AcuSense cameras, deep-learning algorithms classify humans and vehicles in real time, filtering nuisance alerts and turning playback searches into seconds.
16 PoE Ports Built-In
Power and data over a single Cat6 run to each camera, up to 100 m. IEEE 802.3 af/at compliant — plug your cameras in and they appear automatically. Zero extra hardware.
Dual-SATA, 32 TB Capacity
Two internal SATA bays accept enterprise-grade surveillance HDDs up to 16 TB each, delivering long-duration 24/7 recording even with all 16 channels at full 4K.
8K HDMI Display Output
Drive an 8K (7680 × 4320) monitor at 30 Hz, or a 4K display at 60 Hz, plus a secondary VGA output for a second workstation view in your control room.
H.265+ Smart Compression
Hikvision's H.265+ codec reduces bitrate by up to 75% compared to H.264 — meaning more days of footage on the same drive, or the same retention on a smaller drive.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the NVR1016H come with a hard drive?
No. The NVR1016H supports one SATA hard drive up to 10TB, which must be purchased separately. We recommend a surveillance-grade HDD (e.g., Western Digital Purple or Seagate SkyHawk) for reliable 24/7 operation.
How many days of footage can it store?
With a 10TB hard drive installed and H.265+ compression enabled, the NVR1016H can store approximately 720 days of footage from a single camera at standard settings. Actual storage duration varies based on the number of cameras, resolution, frame rate, and motion activity.
Is it compatible with non-VIGI cameras?
Yes. The NVR1016H supports ONVIF-compliant IP cameras from other manufacturers, allowing integration into mixed-brand installations. Full feature support (e.g., smart detection, two-way audio) is only guaranteed with VIGI cameras.
Can I access footage remotely?
Yes. Download the free VIGI app on iOS or Android to view live feeds, play back recorded footage, and receive event notifications from anywhere with an internet connection.
Does it support PoE to power cameras?
No. The NVR1016H does not have built-in PoE ports. Cameras must be powered separately via a PoE switch or individual power adapters. For an all-in-one PoE NVR solution, consider the VIGI NVR1016H-16P.
What resolution does the HDMI output support?
The HDMI output supports up to 1920×1080p at 60Hz, suitable for connecting to a full HD monitor or TV for on-site live view and playback.

Hikvision VPro · AcuSeek AI · 16 CH · 16 PoE
The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/VPro brings Hikvision's flagship VPro AcuSeek AI to a 16-channel, 16-PoE format — the natural choice for medium Australian sites: clinics, mid-sized retail, gyms, restaurants, multi-tenant offices, schools, car yards, and large residential estates that need 8–16 cameras with enterprise-grade AI on board. Ships as a chassis only, ready for your choice of surveillance-grade HDD (sold separately or available pre-fitted from 4 TB to 16 TB at checkout).
At its core is Guanlan, Hikvision's large-scale AI model. Instead of scrubbing through hours of footage, you simply describe what you're looking for in plain English — *"a person in a red jacket near the back gate yesterday afternoon"* — and the NVR finds it instantly. Add image-based AcuSearch, multi-channel facial recognition across 16 face libraries, Motion Detection 2.0, on-device perimeter protection and the ability to model up to 300,000 targets per day, and you have a recorder that doesn't just film events — it understands them.

AcuSeek — search your CCTV like you search Google
This is the feature that changes everything. AcuSeek is powered by Hikvision's Guanlan large-scale AI model, and it lets you query your recorded footage with natural language. Type what you're looking for and the NVR returns the matching clips across all 16 channels in seconds — no manual review required. For medium Australian sites with 8–16 cameras, it turns hours of investigation into seconds.
Natural-Language Video Search
Type *"a person carrying a backpack at the loading dock"* and AcuSeek returns matching clips across all 16 channels — no manual review required, no event tagging in advance.
AcuSearch by Image
Upload a reference image of a person or vehicle and AcuSearch finds every other appearance in your footage. Perfect for tracking suspects, missing persons or specific vehicles across all 16 cameras.
16-Channel Face Recognition
Live facial recognition across every channel — 16 face libraries, up to 50,000 stored faces. Get instant push alerts on your phone when known people, staff, VIPs or banned faces appear.
Motion Detection 2.0
AI-powered motion detection classifies movement as human, vehicle, or other — eliminating wind, rain and shadow false triggers across every camera, every hour of the day.
300,000 Targets Per Day
The Guanlan AI engine can model and index up to 300,000 detected targets every day across the 16 channels — building a searchable database of every person and vehicle that crosses your site.
Powered by Guanlan AI
Built on Hikvision's proprietary large-scale AI model, the NVR continues to improve recognition accuracy through firmware updates — no cloud, no subscriptions, no monthly fees ever.
Face recognition that works like your phone — but for your CCTV
You know how your iPhone Photos app automatically groups pictures of "Mum," "James," or "the kids"? The DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/VPro does exactly the same thing — but for your live security cameras. Snap a photo of each family member, staff member, regular customer, courier or contractor and add their name. From then on, when the NVR sees them at any of your 16 cameras, you get a push notification on your phone that says "James arrived at the front door" instead of just *"motion detected."*
It also works the other way around. Add a banned customer, a former employee or anyone you don't want on the premises to a watchlist — and the NVR alerts you the instant they appear on any camera. Up to 50,000 faces across 16 organised libraries can be stored locally on the recorder itself — no cloud subscription, no facial data leaving your premises, no monthly fees, ever.
Unlike battery-powered "smart" cameras that only recognise faces at the doorbell (and lose accuracy over time), the VPro NVR runs the same enterprise-grade Guanlan AI engine used in Hikvision's commercial sites — applied to every camera, every angle, around the clock.

Frequently asked questions
What is AcuSeek and how does it work?
AcuSeek is Hikvision's natural-language video search powered by the Guanlan AI model. Instead of filtering by date, channel or event type, you describe what you're looking for in plain English — and the NVR returns matching clips across all 16 channels in seconds.
Does it come with a hard drive?
This SKU ships as a chassis only. Choose your preferred HDD capacity at checkout — we offer pre-fitted Seagate SkyHawk or WD Purple surveillance drives from 4 TB up to 16 TB per bay (32 TB total when both bays are full).
Which cameras work best with this NVR?
Browse our verified Hikvision AcuSeek Cameras collection — every camera in it is officially confirmed AcuSeek-compatible by Hikvision. Other Hikvision and ONVIF cameras still record normally, just without AcuSeek smart features on those channels.
Are there ongoing subscription fees for the AI features?
No. All AI processing — AcuSeek, AcuSearch, facial recognition, ANPR — runs on-board the NVR. No recurring cloud fees, ever.
How many days of recording will I get?
At full 4K H.265+ on all 16 channels with 24/7 recording, expect roughly 4–6 days per 8 TB drive. Motion-only recording typically triples that figure. Fit two 16 TB drives for over a month of continuous retention.

WizSense + AcuPick · 5-Series · 16-Channel · 16-PoE · 4-HDD · 1.5U
The Dahua DHI-NVR5416-16P-AI/ANZ is a 16-channel 5-Series WizSense AI NVR with AcuPick, 16 built-in PoE+ ports (ports 1–8 ePoE up to 800 m), and a 1.5U chassis with four SATA bays — the perfect middle-ground between the compact 2-HDD 5216-16P and the storage-heavy 8-HDD 5832-16P. Record up to 32 MP per channel, plug 16 cameras straight into the back of the recorder, and scale storage to roughly 64 TB on-board across four 16 TB drives.
This is the official Australia / NZ-market SKU (the AI/ANZ suffix). It's the all-in-one 16-channel option with double the storage of the 5216-16P — same PoE budget, same chassis depth, but room for two extra HDDs and longer retention. Internal 100–240 VAC universal PSU, AS/NZS-compliant kettle cord, and a local 3-year warranty backed by CCTV Guru in Sydney. AcuPick, N+M cluster, iSCSI and ONVIF 23.12 are enabled by Dahua's V5 firmware (current factory ship as of 2025).
16 PoE+ ports + 4-HDD storage — built for upgrades
PoE Ports
16 × · 130 W · 1–8 ePoE 800 m
Storage
4 SATA · up to 64 TB on-board
16 cameras plug straight in
Each Cat6 run carries power and video back to the NVR — no power adaptors at every camera, no separate PoE switch. Full 16-channel PoE coverage with a 130 W total budget — comfortable for typical Dahua WizSense bullets and turrets at 7–9 W each.
ePoE on ports 1–8 (800 m)
Extended PoE on the first 8 ports — 100 Mbps up to 300 m, or 10 Mbps up to 800 m on Cat6. Eliminates intermediate switches and fibre runs on long perimeter or carpark cable runs.
4 SATA bays · 64 TB max
Twice the storage of the smaller 5216-16P. Four surveillance-grade HDDs (WD Purple, Seagate SkyHawk) up to 16 TB each — roughly 90–120 days of 16-channel motion-record at 4 MP H.265+.
Powers PoE+ cameras
25.5 W per port (PoE+ / 802.3at) — handles IR-heavy bullets, mini PTZs, multi-sensor cameras and active-deterrence units that exceed the basic 15 W PoE ceiling. Plan for ~8 W average per camera across the 16 ports.
AcuPick on up to 16 channels — full-licence search

Search Method
Image + attribute · front + back AI
Search by reference image
Click any person or vehicle in recorded video, hit AcuPick, and the NVR scans all 16 channels for matches across hours, days or weeks — clothing colour, body shape, vehicle make / model / colour / direction included.
Front- + back-end intelligence
Camera-side AI extracts target attributes during recording; NVR-side AI runs the comparison. Higher accuracy than recorder-only search and orders of magnitude faster than human review.
Investigations finish in minutes
Find a suspect across 16 channels and weeks of footage in a single search. Particularly valuable for retail loss prevention, school investigations and insurance disputes.
Beyond Quick Pick
AcuPick is the next generation of Dahua's Quick Pick — more attributes, more accuracy, and supports both people and vehicles natively. Exclusive to the 5-Series WizSense NVR family.

NVR5416-16P vs the family — how it compares
The 5416-16P (this model) is the upgraded 16-channel option — same PoE budget and AI features as the 5216-16P but with double the HDD bays and a 1.5U chassis. Choose this when your install needs longer retention or higher-resolution recording but you don't need to jump up to 32 channels. For the most compact build, step down to the 5216-16P; for 32 channels with RAID-protected 8-HDD storage, step up to the 5832-16P.

Frequently asked questions
What's the real benefit over the smaller NVR5216-16P?
Same 16 channels and same 16 PoE+ ports — but the 5416-16P (this model) doubles the HDD bays from 2 to 4, doubles your on-board storage ceiling (~64 TB vs ~32 TB), upgrades video output from single HDMI/VGA to dual HDMI/VGA, and adds 16 alarm inputs / 6 alarm outputs (vs 4 / 2) plus eSATA. Choose this when you want longer retention or hardware alarm integration on your 16-channel build.
Does this NVR really support AcuPick?
Yes. Dahua's V5 firmware (binary DH_NVR5XXX-EI_MultiLang_V5.001.0000000.0.R.251220 or later) enables AcuPick on the AI/ANZ unit alongside N+M cluster, iSCSI and ONVIF 23.12. The firmware is published on Dahua AU's official product page and ships from CCTV Guru with V5 installed.
How much storage do I need for 16 cameras?
For 16 × 4 MP cameras at H.265+ on motion-record, expect ~12–18 TB for 30 days of retention. Four 6–8 TB surveillance-grade drives (WD Purple, Seagate SkyHawk) gives you ~24–32 TB on-board — roughly 60–90 days. For longer retention or higher resolution, fit 16 TB drives (the maximum supported) for up to 64 TB total.
How does the 16 PoE budget cover 16 cameras?
130 W total ÷ 16 cameras = ~8 W average per camera. That's comfortable for most Dahua WizSense bullets and turrets (5–9 W each). If you're running PTZ, IR-heavy bullets or active-deterrence units (15–25 W each), plan to mix in some lower-draw cameras or use an external PoE injector for the high-power ones.
Is the DHI-NVR5416-16P-AI/ANZ NDAA Section 889 compliant?
No. Dahua products are not currently NDAA Section 889 compliant. If NDAA compliance is required (federal, government or defence installs), choose a Uniview, Hanwha, Axis, Bosch or IDIS NVR instead — CCTV Guru can recommend an equivalent.
Can it be rack-mounted?
Yes — 1.5U / 440 mm wide fits a standard 19-inch rack with ears (rack ears sold separately). At 4.82 kg empty (without HDDs), plan for ~8–10 kg fully loaded with four drives.
What's the 12 V alarm output for?
One of the 6 alarm outputs is a direct 12 V 1 A power feed — drive a siren, strobe light or electric strike directly without needing an external relay or power supply. The other 5 outputs are dry-contact relays you can wire to anything that takes a NO/NC trigger.

Hikvision DeepinMind · AI NVR · 16 CH · 16 PoE · 8K
The Hikvision iDS-7716NXI-M4/16P/X is a DeepinMind AI Network Video Recorder — Hikvision's flagship 16-channel plug-and-play recorder for sites that take AI seriously. It brings true on-device deep-learning intelligence to your CCTV: facial recognition across all 16 channels, perimeter protection on every channel, AcuSearch image-based search, video structuralisation, ANPR, people counting and Motion Detection 2.0 — all processed locally on the NVR itself, not in the cloud.
Designed for serious Australian deployments — corporate offices, hotels, gated estates, schools, retail chains, car dealerships and government sites — this 1.5U NVR connects up to 16 IP cameras (all via built-in PoE) and outputs true 8K via HDMI 1 while a second 4K HDMI drives a spot monitor. Four SATA bays accept up to 16 TB each (64 TB total), with full RAID support for footage redundancy. Ships as a chassis only — choose your HDD configuration at checkout.

What makes DeepinMind different from a standard NVR
Most NVRs simply record video. The DeepinMind iDS series understands what it's recording. Hikvision's deep-learning engine sits inside the recorder, processing every frame to recognise faces, classify vehicles, detect line-crossing and intrusion, read number plates, and count people moving through a doorway. The result is a security system that doesn't just film events — it flags the ones that matter the moment they happen.
Facial Recognition & Face Library
Manage up to 16 face libraries with 100,000 enrolled faces, plus a 10,000-face stranger library and 5 million face-capture records. Compare at 48 pictures per second across all 16 channels.
Perimeter Protection
16-channel deep-learning intrusion, line-crossing and region-entry detection — drastically lower false alarms than traditional motion-only NVRs.
AcuSearch by Image
Upload a reference image of a person or vehicle and AcuSearch finds every other appearance in your recorded footage. Hours of investigation collapsed into seconds.
Video Structuralisation
12-channel video metadata extraction transforms raw footage into searchable structured data — people, vehicles, faces and licence plates indexed automatically.
ANPR & People Counting
Built-in automatic number-plate recognition for entrances and driveways, plus people counting for retail traffic, building occupancy and queue management.
Motion Detection 2.0
AI-powered motion detection that classifies movement as human, vehicle, or other — eliminating wind, rain and shadow false triggers for genuinely smart alerts.
Face recognition that works like your phone — but for your CCTV
You know how your iPhone Photos app automatically groups pictures of "Mum," "James," or "the kids"? The iDS-7716NXI-M4/16P/X does exactly the same thing — but for your live security cameras. Snap a photo of each family member, staff member, regular customer, courier or contractor and add their name. From then on, when the NVR sees them on any of your 16 cameras, you get a push notification on your phone that says "James arrived at the front door" instead of just *"motion detected."*
It also works the other way around. Add a banned customer, a former employee or anyone you don't want on the premises to a watchlist — and the NVR alerts you the instant they appear on any camera. Up to 100,000 faces across 16 organised libraries are stored locally on the recorder itself — no cloud subscription, no facial data leaving your premises, no monthly fees, ever.
Unlike battery-powered "smart" cameras that only recognise faces at the doorbell (and lose accuracy over time), the DeepinMind NVR runs the same enterprise-grade deep-learning engine used in Hikvision's commercial installations — applied to every camera, every angle, around the clock.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between this and a standard M Series NVR?
The iDS DeepinMind NVR has a dedicated AI processor inside the recorder. Even if your cameras aren't AI-enabled, the NVR runs facial recognition, perimeter protection and AcuSearch on the live stream — turning any IP camera into a smart camera.
Do I need special cameras to use the AI features?
No. The DeepinMind NVR processes video from any compatible Hikvision or ONVIF IP camera. Pair with cameras from our Hikvision AcuSeek Cameras collection for the sharpest face crops and best recognition accuracy.
Does it come with hard drives?
This SKU ships as a chassis only. CCTV Guru offers pre-fitted Seagate SkyHawk or WD Purple surveillance drives from 4 TB up to 16 TB per bay — choose your configuration at checkout.
How does facial recognition work in practice?
Enrol staff, VIPs or known visitors into the face library. The NVR then alerts when a known face appears (or when a stranger does). Up to 100,000 faces can be stored locally and compared at 48 pictures per second.
Does it support RAID?
Yes — RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10 across the 4 SATA bays. You can balance storage capacity, redundancy and performance to suit your site's footage retention policy.
Do you ship to my city?
We ship Australia-wide from our local warehouse — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Canberra and Darwin — with most metro orders arriving in 1–3 business days.
