8MP Wide-Angle Lens (97.5° H)
The wide-angle module uses an 8MP CMOS sensor with a 97.5° horizontal field of view — ideal for wall-mounted coverage of rooms, entries, and corridors at up to 24 FPS.
360° Fisheye Lens
The fisheye module uses a 12MP CMOS sensor for ceiling-mounted, all-round coverage of an entire space from a single discreet point — perfect for open-plan rooms, retail floors, and reception areas.
Advanced On-Device AI
An on-board AI processing engine delivers face recognition, license-plate recognition, and people, vehicle & animal smart detections — cutting false alerts so you only see what matters.
Colour LCM Status Display
A built-in colour LCM display shows live device status at a glance, making setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting fast and intuitive.
Two-Way Audio Ready
Supports two-way audio with the optional AI Theta Audio module (UVC-AI-Theta-Audio, sold separately) for listen-in and talk-back from the UniFi Protect app.
Single-Cable PoE Installation
One Ethernet cable delivers both power and data (max 12.5 W) over a GbE RJ45 port — no separate power run. Wall, ceiling, and flush mounts are included for clean, discreet installs.
UniFi Protect — No Subscription
Manage live views, recordings, and AI alerts through the UniFi Protect app or web interface — local recording, no monthly fees, and no cloud lock-in.

Is the AI Theta one camera or a modular system?

Are both lenses included in the box?
Yes. Both the 8MP wide-angle lens (UVC-AI-Theta-Lens) and the 360° fisheye lens (UVC-AI-Theta-Lens-360) are included with the hub.

No. UniFi Protect runs locally on a UniFi NVR or Dream Machine — no monthly fees and no cloud subscription required.
