Is the RUTXR1 rack-mountable?Yes. It's a 1U full-steel device (272 × 42.6 × 122.6 mm) and ships with a 19" rack mounting kit, so it slots into any standard server cabinet.
How fast is the mobile connection?It uses 4G LTE Cat 6 with Carrier Aggregation, delivering up to 300 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload where the network supports it.
What does the SFP port do?The SFP cage accepts a fibre-optic transceiver for long-range, high-speed uplinks. Note it cannot operate at the same time as the Ethernet WAN port.
How does the redundant power work?Two independent 4-pin DC inputs let you feed the router from two separate sources, so it stays powered if one supply fails. An 18 W PSU is included.
Does it support dual-SIM failover?Yes. Two Mini SIM (2FF) slots auto-switch on weak signal, data limit, roaming, no network and other conditions for resilient connectivity.
How many Ethernet ports does it have?Five Gigabit RJ45 ports — one WAN and four LAN — all 10/100/1000 Mbps with auto MDI/MDIX.
Can I manage it remotely?Yes. RutOS plus Teltonika RMS provides zero-touch provisioning, monitoring and firmware updates, even on private or dynamic-IP SIMs.
What VPNs are supported?OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, GRE, L2TP, SSTP, DMVPN, ZeroTier and Tailscale, alongside a hardened firewall and 802.1x access control.
