Top of the line Security Cameras and Recorders

Network Cameras
A network camera, also known as an IP camera, is a video camera that comes with a chipset that can process video data, which it can then transmit as both audio and video to a storage device such as NVR (Network Video Recorders) or XVR or send for remote viewing via monitor or smartphone apps. The main advantage of the network camera is it can draw power through the same ethernet cable (Cat5e and Cat6), which is also known as PoE. This means that you do not need to locate or install a power source nearby to power every single camera, unlike analog cameras.

NVR Recorders
Network Video Recorders (NVR) record the images, audio and videos streamed from network cameras (IP cameras) to hard drives. NVR systems offer playback capability and remote viewing on smartphones. However, they only operate using an ethernet cable (Cat5e and Cat6), which can transmit both audio and video from network cameras and also provide power to the unit.

Installation
An ethernet cable’s (Cat5e and Cat6) maximum length is 100 metres (328ft; installation on larger premises requires network switches to extend the total distance covered by individual cables. Cat5e cable can handle transmission speeds of up to 1000 megabits per second (Mbps), stepping up to 1 gigabit per second for Cat6 cables.

Viewing & Notifications
You can monitor our CCTV setups via live streaming, receive text or app notifications of intrusions or watch recordings via a computer monitor connected by ethernet cable or wirelessly, as well on a supported app through a smartphone/tablet or monitor.

Traditional Analog HD Cameras and Recorders

HDCVI Analog Cameras
High Definition Composite Video Interface (HD-CVI) technology company Dahua’s patented in-house technology supports up to 4K ultra high definition resolution, meaning it can support four times the pixels of 1080p video. This means that the system can simultaneously transmit four signals (audio, video, data and power) over a single coaxial cable, which enables long-distance HD video transmission over a wide range of application scenarios at a friendly cost.

HD-SDI Analog Cameras
High Definition Serial Digital Interface (HD-SDI) cameras can transmit uncompressed, unencrypted digital video signals at up to 1080p, HD quality levels.

XVR Recorders
The X (Infinite) XVR video recorder is the advanced version of the DVR range and supports operations with both network (IP) cameras and analog cameras. This flexibility means that you can use this recorder to upgrade existing traditional analog cameras pre-installed on premises with the addition top-quality network cameras, saving money and time.

Installation
A coaxial cable’s (RG59 and RG6) maximum length is 500m. However, when using these systems you will need a power source for every camera, which is unlike NVR recorders or network cameras because coaxial cables cannot simultaneously transmit both power and data, unlike ethernet cables. The RG6 wire has thicker insulation and braiding and is capable of transmitting signals over a much longer distance.

Viewing and Notifications
System owners can monitor live streaming, receive notifications of intrusions; watch the recording on a computer monitor that is connected directly to XVR via HDMI or VGA cables; or wirelessly on a supported app through a smartphone/tablet or monitor.
